Creative Journal, which has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the next issue, will feature original work from its contributors, including artists like Amanda Palmer and Sarah Sorensen, as well as creative-minded designers like Sarah C. Gartner, Emily Dickson and Rui Guo.
“We are a diverse group of artists who are all coming together to tell stories about ourselves,” said Creative Journal editor-in-chief Ben Stiller, adding that it’s been a great experience.
“It’s an exciting time for our community to have these artists and artists who have created some of the most powerful, unique, and influential pieces of art of the last 100 years, and we’re excited to share that with you.”
The creative journal has attracted some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Angelina Jolie, Kevin Spacey, Robert Pattinson, and Mark Ruffalo, as it has helped popularize the idea of an artistic-comedy series.
Creative Spacey recently revealed that he is collaborating with Joss Whedon, creator of the “Serenity” TV show, for a series of “skeletons” for his own personal collection.
